Gear Quench Press

Simpletec hydraulically operated Gear Quench Press is used for simultaneous pressing of the 'double-cup' component from top as well as bottom. The component is placed on the skid plate and need not be lifted up to place it on the bottom die. This facilitates loading and automatic unloading/ejection of the component. Quench pressure, time and oil flow can be set precisely. Quench oil flow and the top and bottom ram pressing forces can be seen on the HMI of the machine. All operations, except loading of components, are automatic. Pick and place manipulators for automatic loading of components can also be provided.

The quench press can also be equipped with secondary quench system, complete with conveyor for removal of the components after the quenching operation. The secondary quench time can be set as required by selecting the conveyor speed.
